If you’re wandering the chic streets of Apgujeong in the Gangnam District of Seoul, make sure to carve out some time for an enchanting stop at Mooni Apgujeong. This cafe is not just a place to grab a drink or a bite; it’s an experience that marries aesthetic appeal with culinary finesse.

From the moment you step inside Mooni, you're greeted by a beautifully designed interior that feels both cozy and upscale. The multi-level space is adorned with carefully curated decor that invites you to explore its charming nooks and crannies. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to work or a vibrant area to chat with friends, this cafe offers something for everyone.

The menu might be on the pricier side – with items like tea reaching around $11 – but the quality and presentation of their offerings make it worthwhile. As Chris Fountas aptly describes, the croissants at Mooni are "hands down the best I’ve had," putting many local bakeries to shame. Try them fresh, flaky, and begging to be paired with your choice of drink.

Those with a sweet tooth will revel in their dessert selection. The red velvet cake, particularly noted by Blezie Lobigo, is regarded as possibly the best in Seoul, thanks to its luxurious mascarpone cream that elevates it to new heights. Customers rave about the chocolate shakes and matcha lemonade, with their delightful balance of flavors and generous portions paving the way for an indulgent afternoon snack or a sweet treat post-shopping.

Even if you visit during a quieter weekday lunch, as Lia shared, the inviting service and quick delivery of drinks still create a welcoming atmosphere. Just imagine nibbling on a light fig pie or sweet potato pastry while sipping from your perfectly brewed coffee — it’s a warm embrace in culinary form.

Though you might find it more crowded during peak hours, the bustling vibe adds to Mooni’s charm, particularly if you're someone who enjoys the camera click of fellow patrons capturing their memories in such a picturesque backdrop. As Sumit Schitoll mentioned, it may be "the most photographed cafe in Seoul," and with the holiday decorations, it is simply magical.

Whether you are planning a cute date, a cozy catch-up with friends, or simply need a tranquil break from the vibrant Apgujeong scene, Mooni Apgujeong is a gem that expertly combines atmosphere, beauty, and delightful flavors. Don’t miss your chance to experience this local favorite for yourself!

Relaxed atmosphere. The drinks are a bit pricey ($11 for a tea ) but their croissants are hands down the best I’ve had. Better than Naduke.

No doubt, the place is so pretty! but it's not just aesthetically appealing, their dessert and coffee was great too! I had flat white and red velvet cake. the best red velvet cake ive tried so far!! (They used mascarpone cream) The price was more expensive than other cafes in Korea but the overall offer of this place is also next level so that is understandable. Highly recommended!

The staff are kind and it feels like a very inviting atmosphere! They had our drinks out quickly and were kind enough to explain everything to us. I may have made the mistake of going there on a weekday during dinner time but I enjoyed the leftover pastries. It was a strange sight to see the pastry area this a couple of breads it resembles an empty soup kitchen. I assume it would be more lively on a bustling weekend afternoon. The pictures of the house you’ve seen online are not on the Main Street as you might’ve justifiably ascertained. You could locate it on the fourth floor terrace. Have a romantic evening or an after work coffee with coworkers it has an enchanting atmosphere where can you easily brush off your daily worries.

A very lovely place with lots of different rooms to sit in. Big choice of creative looking pastries. We opted for a strawberry turtle and sweet potato pastry. Not too sweet, which was just to our liking. Tasty treats for the afternoon. For drinks we took chocolate shake and matcha lemonade. The shake was massive, could even call it a freak shake and matcha very well balanced. The only caveat is the price of it all. Matcha was of the same price as the chocolate shake at a whooping 10,000 each, but I suppose that's Gangnam for you.

Cute cafe with very aesthetic interior! There’s a couple floors so there’s plenty of seating. The fig pie was very light and not too sweet with a very flaky pastry. The milk tea was a little on the sweeter end though! The price is a little high but it’s a nice place to chill after shopping in apgujeong.

May be the most photographed cafe in Seoul, It was all decked up in Christmas vibe, I can understand why it is a such hype place, Its a huge cafe with many sitting places, We pick up Rooftop with chill morning The cafe has unique offerings and my Mallon smoothies were surprising tastes, The only thing may be annoying was almost everyone their so doing a photo shoots ( not just one ) so feels like you are on a movie set

A super cute cafe right near the station! The raspberry flan was absolutely delicious and the other pastries were good as well. The americano was a little pricey and not my favorite so I would try a different drink next time. The atmosphere and staff were so lovely as well and I would highly recommend this cafe for a cute date or girls hang out!
